Right-Click on the folder Start Menu and select Properties. The target setting should be:

The Root Path can be found by clicking on the browse button and locating the Start Menu under the Network heading.
When creating a start menu it is important to enable the policy “Remove common program groups from Start Menu”
3. When working through the process of creating a redirection policy for the documents folder, Lyle showed us a way to have Windows Server 2008 automatically create a folder for each user.
The first step is to create folders inside of the redirection folder. To do this, right-click on the folder you wish to change, in this case the redirection folder, and go into the Profile window. In this window make the following changes:
- select Connect under the section home folder
- assign a drive letter
- enter the path to the folder with \%username% at the end
Once the system has been set up to create user folders, the setting in Documents Properties Of the Group Policy Manager Editor can be changed to “Basic–Redirect everyone's folder to the same location.
It is important in the folder redirection to the two options in the Settings window.
Finally, run gpupdate in the command window.
